Dog Blanket - Woof
The blanket requires 3 x 100 gram balls in the main colour and approximately 40 grams of a contrasting yarn.
The main section is worked in moss stitch, and the borders, in stocking stitch, are added by picking up stitches along the sides and each end.
The borders are knitted to double the depth required and folded over. This gives a nice firm edge to the blanket and also keeps the back neat as it conceals the back of the embroidery.
The motifs are worked using duplicate stitch.
