I am a cat lover & have five old fogies that I share my life with. I was looking in my local pet shop & saw absolutely nothing for pets apart from the stockings which are filled with crap that none of my cats can eat without vomiting. I got my thinking cap on and designed a wreath that can be used for any pet – except for maybe a horse. Is so simple to knit that anyone – and I do mean anyone can make it & you can make it in any colour and even use it all year round to store your pet treats. You can make this in any yarn thickness you have.
Materials

Yarn I used 100g DK yarn

Knitting needles 3.5mm ( You can use single ended, long double ended, or round without joining)

Wreath former Polystyrene 35cm – or size you have

One large metal ring for hanging – I used the ring from an old keyring. You could use a ribbon, or, crochet a chain & sew to the reverse.

Pins – lots of pins

Blunt sewing / tapestry needle

Ruler, or, tape measure
