You can make it with ANY weight yarn and to fit any size dog (or cat!)
So materials needed depend on what size you make but as an idea:
MATERIALS:
Yarn: Any weight yarn you have in your stash.
Show in Scheepjes Chunky Monkey 100% Avcrylic, 116 m / 127 yds / 100g. Colourway Cardinal 47 m / and White.
Needles and Notions:
Use the needle size recommended on the yarn band, or 0.5 mm larger if you knit fairly tightly.
I used 5.5 mm (US 9) needle.
Removeable marker, scissors and needle to sew in ends.
For the pom pom: scrap yarn in white, fork, craft glue.

Doesn’t matter.
