Dog Dayz of Summer is an open lacy shawl made up of four variations of the same stitch! So sit back, dab on a little more sun block, and enjoy this relaxed knit!

This is an MKAL being run on my Criminal Knits…for the Serial Knitter in all of us. Group come and join us for all the fun! Clue 1 will download on July 1st

Materials:
Yarn:1 skein 480 yds Wolle’s Color Changing Cotton or Silk/Cotton or any other fingering weight yarn of at least 480 yds

Needles: Size 8 16 & 32” circular needles for cast on, Set Up and Clue #1 and Size 6 40” circular needle for the rest of the shawl

Note: It is very important that the Set Up and Clue #1 are knit loosely or they won’t block out properly. Having said that, if you ran out of yarn in either of my previous 2020 small shawls, please consider going down to Size 6 needles for the Set Up and Clue #1 and Size 4 needles for the rest of the shawl

You will also need:
Markers
Dental floss or waste yarn for life lines
Beverages of your choice. And yes, you can absolutely drink alcohol while knitting this shawl!

Guage: 5 stitches to 1” in garter stitch
