These are great to make in colors to coordinate with your kitchen or whatever room you have the pet dishes in. The tester for this Dog Bone Place Mat used a Reverse Single Crochet Shell border. So whether you prefer to work from a graph or hate the counting and like it written out, this pattern has both.
