Dog-Eared Beanie
This dog-eared beanie is the perfect accessory for any baby on-the-go! The hat is knit in-the-round, finished with Kitchener stitch, and the ears are picked-up from the top of the hat and knit flat. The nose and mouth are added afterwards with a tapestry needle.
For this pattern, about 55 yards of Main Color were used, and 30 yards of contrast color. With Lion Brand’s skeins, you can make three baby hats!!
I crocheted the eye spot and attached it with a simple back stitch to the hat. As a knitter, I normally shy away from anything with crochet. However, using this website as a guide, I was able to make a circle:

The booties pictured with the hat are A La Sascha’s Easiest & Fastest Baby Booties Ever!
Currently, this pattern is written as a One-Size Fits Most for baby’s sized newborn to 6 months.
