Dog size does not change with clothing size. Add rows/columns evenly to the sides, top, and bottom of the chart as you size up, to ensure the dog remains central. Alternatively, for larger sizes, I recommend using larger hooks and yarn weights (check the gauge is proportional i.e. if stitch number to reach 10cm halves to 7, the row number should then be approximately 4.25).

The pictured pullover measures 17” by 17” and it is made to the exact grid size, using a 5mm hook and DK yarn.
