His chest is about 19 inches around at the widest point. The sweater when laid flat measures about 8 inches across the chest (it stretches) and it is 15-16 inches total in length.

No confusing abbreviations are used and no special pattern knowledge is needed. This pattern is for any loomer who knows the basics. Casting on, U-wrap knit, E-wrap knit, purl and binding off are the only skills necessary.

The pattern is written for a large gauge (5/8” or similar gauge) loom with 48 pegs using #5 bulky or #6 super bulky weight yarn. Specific yarn used in the photos and yardage are listed in the pattern.
