You must be able to read a chart to complete this pattern.
The pattern is written using “invisible stranding” techniques. If you are not familiar with this technique you can use traditional Fair Isle stranding. The hat pattern was inspired by my dog and our morning walks as he meets up with his buddies at the park. There is much joy in sniffing! I hope you enjoy the pattern!

The pattern only has one size. I originally made it our of Trendsetter’s Pure Love but it was a bit too big so if you need a bigger hat, I recommend Pure Love and a size US 6 and US 8 needle.
