Doggy Purse
So my daughter is in gymnastics. In the lobby, there is this little play area with toys we can use to keep the little heathens occupied before class starts. One day, this old, yucky doggy purse appeared there and it was like WWE started because the kids were willing to THROW DOWN to get a chance to hold this mangy thing. No amount of calm, collected counsel from the parents about the merits of sharing soothed them. They all wanted the doggy purse for themselves. OR ELSE.
So, of course, I did what any good crochet parent would do: I made my daughter her own doggy purse out of yarn. The other Moms seethed in silent envy, but what can I say? Haters gotta hate.
To complete this pattern, you will need multiple colors of yarn in either a dk or worsted weight, corresponding hook, 2 safety eyes, a safety nose, a button and sewing notions.
I do not recommend making this purse while your child is present unless you want to hear “is it done yet?!?!” a million times. Your ears may start bleeding. Ask me how I know.
