This shawl is inspired by Dogwood Valley on the Natchez Trace in Mississippi! The pattern is a basic pattern with lace stitches towards the edging. Great for beginner knitters wanting to branch out or experienced knitters looking for a non complicated pattern.

Main Color – Hot Springs Fiber Co, 484 yards (2 skeins), DK weight. Colorway: Pretty in Pink Cake Fade. (Because this is a fade dye, alternate the 2 skeins every 2 rows, adding the 2nd skein on row 1.)
Contrast Color – Sesia Bluebell, 136 yards, lace/sock weight. Colorway: Midnight Blue. (This is optional, as it is knitted with the Main Color to give more texture, something I like. You could do an entirely different color instead of using the suggested yarn and not knit the yarns together.)
