You love your dog? You love all dogs? Can’t walk by without petting a dog you happen to pass on the street. Love to spend time at the dog park or walking your dog around the neighborhood. I have a couple of friends who are gaga for dogs. This hat is designed with them in mind. A perfect gift for your dog-loving friend, or family member. If you’re a dog owner yourself, then you will already completely understand the daily life circle of Feeding the Dog, Walking the Dogs and Petting the Dogs, am I right?

Note: This is a checklist pattern; each row is written out for ease of execution. The colorwork sections are done in charts. This hat pattern is written for a beanie or slouchy version. There is also a companion pattern for a cowl.

Adult Medium Beanie sample was knit using Brown Sheep Prairie Spun DK in DK105 Denim Jeans (MC – 92 yds) and DK130 Shimmering Mauve (CC – 50 yds). A total of 142 yds was used and the sample weighs 57g.

Adult Medium Slouchy sample was knit using Brown Sheep Prairie Spun DK in DK40 Red Cedar (MC – 105 yds) and DK35 Honeycomb (51 yds). A total of 156 yds was used and weighs 61g.
