Doing Summer Sideways
This is a MOCK henley. It doesn’t really button open and shut but looks very convincing and is easy to do.
YARN, GAUGE, SIZE AND MACHINE
Tamm Bebe yarn is suggested for standard & Passap machines. Use stitch size 7-9 to get a gauge of 6.5 stitches/9 rows/”.
Length of the sweater is related to the number of stitches. All needles on the bed are used unless you wish to shorten the top. Lengths given may be slightly altered by the tendency of the fabric to drop a little. In some yarns, the top may be a little longer than the knitted length in wear. The length if knitted on a standard gauge 200 needle machine will be 29” for all sizes. On a Passap it will be 27.
