Doing the Rounds (A circle recipe)
A mixture of knitting and crochet.
Instructions are included to make an afghan like the one you see in the photo but the main purpose of this booklet is to enable you to make a circle, any size you want, using your own combination of crochet stitches and knitted garter stitch.
This is not for beginners.
You will need to know the basic crochet stitches and have some experience of making simple crochet circles.
The booklet contains several tables, which may look rather daunting. They contain all the information you need to make your own cushion, afghan, shawl, etc. with a minimum of calculation.
This is an excellent stash-busting project. One of the tables allows you to calculate whether you will have enough yarn to complete a particular round. The afghan in the photo was made entirely from oddments. Any type of yarn can be used though you should use a similar thickness throughout. You cannot mix thick and thin yarns.
This booklet will enable you to make truly unique circles.
Read the story of this afghan on Ravelry or on Woolly Thoughts web site.
