Dokkum Cardigan
This pattern is part of the forthcoming ebook: The Frisian Collection. Have patience while I add patterns and get the ebook published…
This is a fabulously warm ankle or knee length cardigan. The special air yarn makes it surprisingly light and the large gauge makes it a fast knit. The subtle, irregular striping has been made by carrying along a cobweb weight yarn that doesn’t affect the gauge.
The cardigan has patch pockets, ribbed fronts and a snap button closure. The sleeves are picked up from the armscyes and knit down.
design features:
subtle striping
sloped shoulder
set-in sleeves
afterthought pockets
