This is a quick and easy pattern, the pom pom edging is worked as you go along so it is a great pattern for using colour change yarn, as the pompoms will match the colour of your stripes. Unlike tassels or sewn on pom-poms, you don’t need to worry about them coming off.

200g (1 cake) Hobbii Dolce Cashmere - I used Perfect Rainbow (01)

This triangular pattern is worked from side to side, increasing until you have the desired height at the apex of the triangle, and then decreasing. The scarf in the photo was made using 1 cake of Hobbii Dolce Cashmere with a 4mm hook. Use the first 100g for the increase, and then use the second 100g for the decrease - this will make sure there is no waste and you don’t run out. At the apex there are 55 tr stitches, giving a measurement for the scarf of 260cm(102 inch) x 45cm(16 inch) (including bobbles).

Any yarn weight can be used, hook size should be adjusted accordingly for the recommended size for your yarn- but remember this will affect the finished size. To ensure you make the most of a special skein, weigh it, half the weight then use the first half of the skein for the increase, second half of the skein for the decrease.

Tension
16st and 8 rows in tr to 10cm/4in using 4mm hook or size needed to obtain tension. Pattern will work if tension is not exactly the same, but this will affect the finished size.
