Crafty Intentions CROCHET PATTERN Doll Add-on: OVERALLS (printable PDF-file / 84 pages)

Developed by Megan Lapp aka Crafty Intentions, this pattern is for Overalls (and more!)! This pattern is written in U.S. terminology.

This pattern comes with instructions to make Overalls!!

This pattern comes with instructions that you can use with the Doll Body pattern by Crafty Intentions to make Overalls. This pattern DOES NOT INCLUDE THE DOLL BODY.

This pattern includes instructions for three Overall Options including full length overalls, Short overalls aka shortalls, and Pinafore overalls with a ruffle skirt and a straight skirt option. This pattern also includes sneakers!

All instructions are carefully depicted with words and photos! This pattern features clear step by step instruction with a lot of row-by-row photos. The gauge is not crucial to the pattern as long as the stitches are tight enough to hold stuffing.

This pattern is a total of 84 pages containing a full set of written instructions with photographic illustrations, and there are video tutorials for particular steps and stitches available on my YouTube channel. This Pattern consists of ONE PDF File, and the last 24 pages are Text-Only, Printer-Friendly instructions, but I strongly recommend you still refer to the photographic illustrations throughout the pattern if you have any questions.

SIZE

A Doll from this pattern is about 18 inches tall from the top of the head to the toes, about 5 inches wide from side to side at the widest part of the waist, and about 12 inches circumference of the head.

Yarn, in worsted weight, all amounts are approximate:
Full-length Overalls: 115 yds
Cuffs: 2 yds
Side Pocket: 8 yds for two
Bib Pocket: 4 yds
Short Overalls: 70 yds
Cuffs: 2 yds
Side Pocket: 8 yds for two
Bib Pocket: 4 yds
Pinafore Overalls:
Ruffle Skirt: 220 yds
Straight Skirt: 90 yds
Side Pocket: 8 yds for two
Bib Pocket: 4 yds
Sneakers: (yardage is for two sneakers)
Treads: 8 yds
Soles: 8 yds
Shoe Top: 12 yds
Shoe Top Accent: 15 yds
Note: It is important that you choose yarn that is the same weight as that used for your Doll Body – preferably the same brand. If the yarn used for add-on clothing is thinner or thicker than that used for the doll body, then the clothes will not fit the doll. If you must use a different brand or line of yarn, I suggest you make a swatch of each yarn (body yarn and clothing yarn) and make sure the gauge is the same for both. To determine gauge, measure the number of stitches that fit in one inch and the number of rows that fit in one inch. If you cannot recreate the same gauge, you will be making clothing that will be either too large or too small to use with your doll body.
