This jolly baby Dennis is sure to become a favorite companion for the whole family.

The dolls are created using basic knitting stitches and are worked ‘in the round’
Knitting method: knit in the round

This pattern assumes you know how to knit in the round (using your favorite method, be it DPN, two circulars or magic loop), purl, increase (kfb), decrease (k2tog ), and long tail cast on.
The pattern is easy to follow with step-by-step detailed instructions accompanied by plenty of photos. (It is 43 pages long with 172 photos illustrating the process). All pattern rows are numbered. His clothes cannot be removed.

◆ For your toy you can use any yarn you prefer. The toy may become bigger or smaller, but it will be very nice anyway!
You can use acrylic yarn. The thicker yarn you use, the bigger toy you will get.

• Brown color yarn for the hair – I used approximately 3-5 m;
• Four double-pointed needles in a size appropriate to get a tight gauge ( I used a size 0 (US)- 2.00mm) U.K.-14
• Felt- thickness 1 mm White color (eyes)

• safety eye or embroider floss -12 mm (If you are making this for a younger child I would recommend using safety or embroidered eyes)

Abbreviations:
