This is a ball gown dress for your princess doll. The dress has a puffy skirt decorated with lace. The bodice of the dress is decorated with lace frill at the shoulders. The dress has a snap button fastening at the back.
Such a puffy skirt needs a multi layered petticoat, and you can use my free crochet pattern.
The dress pattern is available for 13, 15 and 18’’ dolls.
The skirt splendor can be changed as you wish, only a slight change in the pattern is required.

Measurements of my finished dresses:
W - ½ waist circumference
H - height from the waist to the top of the frill

for a 13” doll
W = 7 cm/ 2.75 inch
H = 5 cm/ 1.96 inch

for a 15” doll
W = 8.5 cm/ 3.34 inch
H = 7 cm/ 2.75 inch

for a 18” doll
W = 12 cm/ 4.72 inch
H = 8.5 cm/ 3.34 inch

The skirt length depends on the height of your doll only.

Materials:

Yarn YarnArt Lily, 100% cotton mercerized, 50g/1.75oz - 225m/241 yds, you need about 150-200 g for 13-15” doll dress, 250-300 g - for 18” doll dress
of course, you can use any similar yarn

Crochet hook 1.5 mm
3 snap buttons
satin ribbon for decoration the waist
tulle fabric for the petticoat (amount depends on your doll size)

A needle, scissors, markers, pins, sewing thread of the same color as usual
