Description:
The skirt is knitted top-down and in the round. The body of the skirt is knitted in stockinette and the hem is knitted in garter stitch.
The skirt features a knitted casing to feed through some elastic for the waist. You can choose between two methods of completing the elastic casing; Option 1 uses provisional cast-on and a process similar to 3-needle bind-off to join the stitches together. Option 2 uses seaming with a sewing needle to form the casing after you’ve finished knitting the skirt.

Size:
The pattern is for 18” dolls similar to American Girl and Our Generation.

Gauge:
Create a swatch in stockinette. If you get more stitches on your swatch, go up a needle size, similarly, if you get less stitches then go down a needle size.
