This cute and easy-to-make hat doubles as a jaunty little beret as well as a comfy snood for your little doll at bedtime. The fit has been designed for both a 10 inch (using a Bamboletta Little Buddy as a model) and 12 to 16 inch doll (using both a 12” DFH, 15” DFH and Bamboletta as models) with a medium hair volume but the pattern is super easy to adjust if your doll has lots more hair! The modifications are included at the end of this pattern. This pattern works equally well with regular cotton yarn (no stretch) with a drawstring and a spandexy type yarn (very stretchy) without a drawstring. The stretchy yarn works very well for dolls with lots of hair.
