Doll in Karate Costume
I’d like to present you a pattern for knitted doll in Karate Costume. Knit Doll That You Can Make for Martial Arts Judo or Taekwondo. She is a lovely keepsake for a fan. The pattern is written for knitting flat on two needles and the toy should be seamed afterwards. Worked flat on 2 straight knitting needles and seamed. The pattern is available in English. This is a PDF file with detailed instructions. The pattern is 16 pages long and has more than 95 pictures to help you.
THE PATTERN INCLUDES: Row numbers for each step so you don’t lose your place, instructions for making the doll with sculpted face, photos, a list of abbreviations and explanation of some techniques, a materials list and recommended yarns. The Jacket and pants can be taken off. Skill level - Advanced beginner.
FINISHED TOY DETAILS If you are using the materials I am suggesting the final size of the toy is going to be approximately 24 cm from head to toe (9.4”). Please note that you can use any yarn color. The materials suggested in this pattern will help you create the doll that will be identical to the one in the photos.
MATERIALS AND TOOLS you will need:
You can use acrylic yarn. The thicker yarn you use, the bigger toy you will get.
I recommend using needles a size or two smaller than the yarn calls for, to produce a firm fabric.
NEEDLES: All knitting is done on two straight 2.00 mm needles and seamed. (US size 0). U.K.-14. (and Long needles 2 mm (for clothes)
