Supplies needed:

Size N (9.0 mm) Hook

Worsted weight yarn - Bulky 5 – Two strands throughout. Approximately 13 oz/380 g/400 yds (the yarn I used took a bit over 4 skeins)

I used Paton’s Uplands yard - and it’s a softer wool yarn. You can use a stiffer yarn and it will give the basket more support.

Dimensions: Finished dimensions of the basket will vary depending on the yarn used and your personal crocheting style. The basket shown in the pictures is @15” long and 8” wide. A 15” doll fits nice.

Worsted weight yarn – Bulky 6 – One strand throughout. Approximately 12 oz/360 g/215 yds (I used Lion Brand Thick and Quick yarn and it took two 6 oz skeins plus a little from a third skein. Using this yarn did make for a bit larger basket (@17” long), so dropping down to a size smaller hook would keep you from needing that 3rd skein)
