Description:
This pattern features bottom up, back and forth, flat knitting. It has a button band at the back for easy dressing, knitted as part of the garment. The ruffled hem is achieved by twisting stitches with a cable needle and then decreasing the stitch count using the 3-needle bind-off method. Binding off and casting on stitches mid-row creates a capped sleeve. The garment is knitted as one piece and requires no seaming.

Size:
The pattern is for 18” dolls similar to American Girl and Our Generation.

Gauge:
Create a swatch in stockinette. If you get more stitches on your swatch, go up a needle size, similarly, if you get less stitches then go down a needle size.
