Description:
This pattern features bottom up, back and forth, flat knitting. The hem is a 1 x 1 rib pattern and the rest of the skirt is knitted in stockinette. Double decrease stitches provide shaping towards the waist line. An elastic casing is knitted as part of the skirt and seamed afterwards to feed through a piece of elastic. This skirt is seamed at the back using mattress stitch.

Size:
The pattern is for 18” dolls similar to American Girl and Our Generation.

Gauge:
Create a swatch in stockinette. If you get more stitches on your swatch, go up a needle size, similarly, if you get less stitches then go down a needle size.
