This is a sweater made to fit an 18 inch doll like the American Girl doll. Though I did not add buttons to the pattern, those can be added, knitter’s choice as to where along the button band.

The sweater requires worsted weight yarn. I used Caron One Pound, which is a little thicker than a lot of other yarns that are billed as worsted weight.
