Description:
This pattern features bottom up, back and forth, flat knitting. A combination of knit and purl stitches creates a diagonal pattern for the garments. A button band at the back makes for easy dressing, and is knitted as part of the top. You will bind bind off and cast on some stitches mid row to shape the underarm and the strap. The top is knitted as one piece and requires no seaming. The skirt is seamed using mattress stitch.

Size:
The pattern is for 18” dolls similar to American Girl and Our Generation.

Spare knitting needle of any size (Optional, to help with casting on mid row)
4 Stitch Markers
2 Buttons / Snaps
Tapestry Needle
14” / 35cm Elastic (for skirt)

Baby, Sock or Fingering weight / 4-ply – 30g (1oz) Blue and scraps of White
