Doll's Hostess Gown
The title is “Doll’s Hostess Gown” in the Needlework & Crafts magazine, just “Hostess Gown” in the Doll Fashions magazine. It is “At-Home Wrapper” in the Fashion Doll Wardrobe Vol. 2 booklet.
Yarn: 1/2 ounce
Additional materials:
- one double-pointed or cable needle
- one snap fastener
- 1/2 yard of 1/2-inch satin ribbon
- steel crochet hook #1 to chain the belt loops
The gown is made in one piece, seamed. It closes at the front waist with a snap. It has side belt loops that hold the ribbon tie.
Sized for a Barbie-type doll with the 1960s figure: 5.5”/3.125”/5”. The fit may vary on modern dolls.
