Welcome to my first published knitting pattern!

This is a relatively simple pattern to knit and assemble. The hat and neckband/ties are knit separately, then sewn together. This is something that an intermediate knitter or confident beginner could handle.

Skills required: slip, slip, knit; knit two together; cast on; cast off; knit; purl; hand sewing.

This pattern is designed for a 9.5 in (24 cm) baby doll. Using the gauge listed in the pattern, the finished size should be approximately 4 in by 5 in (10 cm by 12.5 cm) If you are following this pattern for a different doll size, you will need to use a different gauge.

This pattern is written in English and uses U.S. terminology.
