Knitting Pattern to make a comfy pair of pyjamas with slippers and teddy bear.
Knit this cute set and not only can your doll have new outfits she can have her very own teddy bear.
Knitted on straight needles these outfits are easy to knit.
The teddy bear is super easy to knit. He/she is knitted in double knitting wool on 3.5 mm needles needles and only takes about 10 grams. You will also need a tiny bit of black wool to embroider the eyes and nose, plus toy stuffing.
The pyjama tops are knitted in one piece from the bottom up in one complete piece, starting at the front hem and ending at the back hem. I try to design my patterns to be quick and easy to knit so this is not a complicated process; little ones don’t want to wait for their dolls new outfits! The pyjama bottoms are also very easy to knit.
Knitted in double knitting wool on 3.5 mm needles. Relatively easy pattern for a beginner or an experienced knitter. I’ve made the pattern as clear and easy as possible just in case any knitters feel unsure.
Uses approx 50 grams double knitting wool for the pyjamas, and approx 10 grams for the teddy. An ideal project for using wool from your stash.
Tension 22 sts and 30 rows to 4” square. Uses number 3.5 mm needles, (4 USA).
18”/19” will fit Gotz, Design-a-Friend, American Girl.
Easy to put on and take off. Just right for imaginitive play for your little one.
What little one could want more for their doll?
My Grand daughter loves her 18”Girl Doll but she finds the fabric clothes cost too much to buy from her pocket money, (and difficult for little fingers to put on and take off!), so she asked her ‘Knitting Nanny Mo’ to design and knit some for her. This outfit was as usual inspired by my grand daughter. She recently told me her dolls don’t have pyjamas to go to bed in and they don’t have a teddy to cuddle.! I hope you enjoy knitting this outfit as much as I did.
