Doll's Shift
The pattern is called “Doll’s Shift” in the Needlework & Crafts magazine, “Beach Shift” in the Doll Fashions magazine.
Yarn: 1/4 ounce main color, few yards contrast color
Additional materials: two small buttons
The dress is made bottom-up. It has side and shoulder seams. The neck band and cuffs are picked up. The back has a placket that closes with buttons.
Sized for a Barbie-type doll with the 1960s figure: 5.5”/3.125”/5”. The fit may vary on modern dolls.
