Another of my own designs . Designed to fit the American Girl Doll and other soft bodied 18’’ dolls with similar measurements.

DESIGNER’S NOTES :
When casting on use the long tail method as it is easy to weave in all tails when finished . The pattern includes knitting instructions for a dress , panties and hairtie . The dress knit in 1 piece until armhole division with 3 buttons at the back closure . The slightly puffy set in sleeves gives it a cute look . I have included a clear and easy chart to follow for the dolly pattern knit over 16 rows .

SUPPLIES NEEDED :

• Any Double Knit Weight 3 ( PLEASE CHECK YOUR GAUGE ) . I used Stylecraft Special Double Knit 54 gm for main and 32 gm for contrast colour
• Size 3.75 mm ( US 5 ) straight knitting needles .
• Size 3.50mm ( US 4 ) straight knitting needles for panties .
• 3 Buttons
• Row counter
• Tapestry needle
• Ribbon for hairtie
