I have had trouble with testers for this pattern so the pattern is untested but I could not have it (mostly) finished just sitting there. This pattern was designed for my sister Dolly, we could not be more different, especially when it comes to body temperature. Dolly is always cold, like, permanently. This means that reading in bed at the end of the day (or lazy lie in, we all need one of those now and again) can turn in to a struggle, you don’t want to put an extra layer on top because you’ll be under the blankets soon enough but your chests and arms are cold. The solution is a loose fitting waist length bed jacket, easy to remove when you are ready to sleep but warm enough to allow you to read “one more chapter”.
