These patterns include instructions for any special stitches used. All instructions use American terminology and standard abbreviations. The patterns are simple enough for an advanced beginner if done in a single color. In two colors, these are definitely intermediate patterns.

You will need (to complete all three pieces):
about 9 oz. (5-5 1/2 balls) of worsted weight cotton yarn for main color
about 2 oz. (1 ball) of worsted weight cotton yarn for accent color
size G-6 (4.0 mm) crochet hook
size H-8 (5.0 mm) crochet hook
size I-9 (5.5 mm) crochet hook
about 50-60 yds of size 10 crochet thread (optional)
smaller hook or yarn needle for weaving in ends
scrap yarn or stitch markers if desired
