She looks like your typical raglan knitted cardigan… but she’s not! She’s 100% crocheted! The Doña Cardi is an innovative knit-look project that is crocheted sideways in one single panel (yep, you heard that right, you will make the whole cardigan in ONE. SINGLE. PANEL).

The raglan effect is created with short rows and the result is a flat cardigan that is finished by joining the sides and sleeves lengthwise. You can choose if you want to use a tapestry needle or a crochet hook for this step.

As always, the pattern includes multiple photos and videos (11 to be exact!), it’s size inclusive, ideal for intermediate crocheters and written in US terms. You can also make your cardi shorter or longer, the pattern will show you how.

SIZES
* XS: Bust sizes between 71-76cm (28-30 in). Approx. 47cm (18.5 in) w & 50.5cm (19.8 in) l.

• S: Bust sizes between 81-86cm (32-34 in). Approx. 53cm (20.8 in) w & 52cm (20.4 in) l.

• M: Bust sizes between 91.5-96.5cm (36-38 in). Approx. 57cm (22.4 in) w & 52cm (20.4 in) l.

• L: Bust sizes between 101.5-106.5cm (40-42 in). Approx. 63cm (24.8 in) w & 53.5cm (21 in) l.

• XL: Bust sizes between 111.5-117cm (44-46 in). Approx. 68.5cm (26.9 in) w & 54.5cm (21.4 in) l.

• 2XL: Bust sizes between 122-127cm (48-50 in). Approx. 73cm (28.7 in) w & 54.5cm (21.4 in) l.

• 3XL: Bust sizes between 132-137cm (52-54 in). Approx. 78.5cm (30.9 in) w & 54.5cm (21.4 in) l.

• 4XL: Bust sizes between 142-147cm (56-58 in). Approx. 83cm (32.6 in) w & 56cm (22 in) l.

• 5XL: Bust sizes between 152-158cm (60-62 in). Approx. 88.5cm (34.8 in) w & 56cm (22 in) l.

This cardi was made using Drops Air, blow yarn made of Baby Alpaca and Merino wool. Aran/Worsted 10ply, 50g (1.8 oz), 150m (164 yd). 8 wraps per inch (wpi).

• Size XS: ~1200m (1312 yd) total. 940m (1028 yd) MC & 260m (284 yd) CC.
• Size S: ~1300m (1421 yd) total. 1020 m (1115 yd) MC & 280m (306 yd) CC.
• Size M: ~1400m (1531 yd) total. 1100m (1203 yd) MC & 300m (328 yd) CC.
• Size L: ~1500m (1640 yd) total. 1175m (1285 yd) MC & 325m (355 yd) CC.
• Size XL: ~1650m (1804 yd) total. 1290m (1411 yd) MC & 360m (394 yd) CC.
