This simple colorwork hat knits up quickly with 3 colours of worsted weight yarn. The colorwork pattern is very easy and is ideal for knitters who are new to colorwork but is fun and fast for knitters of all skill levels. Size: Adult S, (M, L)
Sample is Large size at 9”/23 cm deep, and 20”/51 cm in circumference.
Materials:
Yarn: Shown- Lang Yarns Angelina (60% Silk, 40% Merino, 165 yards/60 grams)
Recommended: 3 colours of Worsted weight yarn. Sample used 43 yards of Dark, 50 yards of Medium, 66 yards of Light.
Needles: 3.75mm/US 5 and 4 mm /US 6 or 4.5 mm/US 7 circular needles (choose the size that gives you the required gauge) of choice depending on the knitters individual knitting style (16”- 24” circs, long circ for magic loop)
Notions: darning needle for weaving in ends.
Gauge: 20 stitches and 24 rows per 4” in colorwork stockinette st.
22 stitches and 32 rows per 4” in broken ribbing.
