Don’t be Square junior is a comfortable sweater with a classic slightly loose fit, raglan sleeves and a folded neckline.
It is knitted according to the intarsia method from bottom-up – back and forth in 4 parts which are sewn together at the end, the sleeves can be knitted both in around or back and forth. If you are new to intarsia knitting, this is one of the easy ones, as you only have 3 colors of yarn. You only knit with one color at a time.
The pattern is described so you can easily adjust the length of both the sleeves and body.

Size: 2-3, 4-5, 6-7, 8-9, 10, 11 and 12år

Breast width: 57, 61, 66, 72, 75, 78 and 81cm.

Length: 37, 39, 41, 44, 45, 46 and 47cm. measured from shoulder. Or desired length

Gauge: 13 sts x 22 rows in stockinette on needle size 6mm = 10 x 10cm.

Yarn:
Color 1 is at the bottom, color 2 is the middle, color 3 is at the top closest to your head
Malou light fra Lang yarns: 50, 50, 50, 50, 50, 100 and 100 grams of each color

Accessories
Needle 5mm 40cm and 6mm 80cm (The sweater is knitted back and forth)
circular needle 5mm 20-50cm according to size (for neckline)
If you prefer to knit the sleeves around: double pointed needles size 5mm and 6mm or you can use magic loop method

Don’t be Square junior er en behagelig sweater med klassisk let løs pasform, raglan ærmer samt ombukket halskant.
Den strikkes efter intarsia/gobelinmetoden nede fra og op - frem og tilbage i 4 dele som sys sammen til sidst, ærmerne kan strikkes både rundt eller frem og tilbage. Er du ny i intarsia/gobelin strik er denne en af de lette, da du kun har 3 bundter garn. Du strikker kun med en farve ad gangen. Der er videoguides til hvordan teknikken strikkes.
