Worked from the cuff down, ‘Don’t Cross The Streams’ uses mosaic colourwork (only one colour is used on each row - no floats to deal with!) and slipped sts to create the cabled stitch pattern on the front of the leg and top of the foot. The sock features an afterthought heel (so as not to disturb the rhythm of the stitch pattern) and a rounded toe.
