Don't Leave Me (Alone in the Rain)!
Don’t Leave Me (Alone in the Rain)! is a flattering, slightly crescent shaped shawl. The pattern includes two versions: a lace weight version and a 4ply/fingering weight version.
The lace instructions are given in charts only. There are two charts with different suggestions for placing the beads.
The pattern is inspired by leaves with water drops. You can sprinkle sparkling beads over your leaves as you please, you can place them symmetrically as suggested in the charts, or you can leave them out.
You start knitting the shawl from the outer edge in lace. The crescent shape is created in the upper part of the shawl by short rows with decreases.
You can easily alter the size of the shawl if you prefer a larger or smaller shawl, or a more distinct crescent shape.
