I wanted to design a cowl that was slightly tapered towards the neck to give it more height. This pattern is designed with two versions, so you can decide how much you want yours tapered. Lightweight, with a regular repeat to keep it easy, but changes within the repeat to keep it interesting. I went with fingering weight yarn because I love the lightweight feel and I can wear this year round!

Cowl is 12” tall with a circumference of about 32” at the bottom. One design decreases 12” towards the top, while the other decreases only about 8”.
