These mitts are quick, feminine, warm, and stress free. They have a pretty cuff, but the body of the mitt is all in stockinet, so they are knit identically. No worries about where to put the thumb gusset, except perhaps keeping the beginning of the round somewhere towards the inside of the hand. It also means they are easy to size up—for a larger size hand or lighter weight yarn. Simply increase by 4 stitches, add one more increase round (2 stitches more) to the thumb, without any need to rethink the placement of a pattern panel. Make them a few rounds longer or shorter, as you desire. No worries!
