This pillow is worked in rows and rounds. I rate this pattern Beginner/easy. It’s a nice repetitive pattern using Double crochet stitches. In this pattern I have included instructions for making a single color donut as well as the two color split.

I have written this pattern with all the corresponding pictures on the last page, and have numbered them for easy reference. This will allow for more experienced crocheters to quickly work through the pattern, and for beginner crocheters to have the printed pictures ready to reference if need be. And lastly the colors I use are just a suggestion, to give you an idea. Of course you may choose whatever color combo you like.

SOME THINGS YOU’LL NEED:

4.5 mm hook size (you can use a smaller hook size if you tend to crochet loosely).

Approx. 75 grams each for the different colored sides of the pillow. I used Bernat Premium yarn in robin’s egg and rose pink. It’s a medium 4 weight yarn.

Approx. 150 g of yarn for the doughnut bottom. I used red heart soft essentials in wheat. It’s a medium 4 weight yarn.

Bits of yarn for the sprinkles. You can choose whichever colors you like. I did yellow, pink, white and purple.
Polyfill for stuffing the pillow, as well as a yarn needle and a good pair of scissors for snipping ends.
