The Doodle It Cardigan has a very basic construction and is worked top down with compound raglan increases. Once you finish the yoke, you separate the sleeves joining the front and back panels, while casting on extra stitches at the underarm. The body is knit straight with a 1” (2.5 cm) 1x1 ribbing detail at the hem. Sleeves have a standard tapered fit and are decreased evenly throughout, finishing with the same detail as the body. The buttonband is picked up along the front panel and back panel edges and finished with a 2x2 rib. Creative liberties are meant to be incorporated at the body right before the hem as well the sleeves.
