Doodles & dashes socks

Doodles & dashes – those doodles and lines you absentmindedly scribble on a piece of paper while on the phone, attending a meeting, or simply daydreaming. Just a little moment for yourself. This time, instead of drawing doodles and lines, we’re knitting them, which is even more fun because, with minimal effort, you can transform basic socks into a pair of charming, dreamy fantasy feet. The design is perfect for ultra-soft, comfortable merino yarns, or even better, sock yarns with yak or alpaca.

Since comfort doesn’t need a lot of embellishments, we’re keeping things simple in this design. Just a few extra lines with some fun (fantasy) stitches will do the trick. The specific Tiny Bobble stitch and Lateral braid stitch are explained step-by-step with photos in Appendices 1 and 2.

Wishing you many evenings filled with knitting joy and, of course, a pair of warm, comfortable feet!
