This cord door knob/handle basket is a great addition to every home, especially where a lot of small items are used around the house. The basket can be used as a door knob/handle basket, a wall hanger basket, or as an alternative to a Christmas stocking. The place, be it a nursery or a bathroom, does not matter. All that matters that this cord basket is functional. Moreover, such a bag can be used all year round.

The pattern for the door knob basket is provided in two variants. The first variant is written in full sentences accompanied by illustrations, which is a great option for beginners in crocheting. The second variant is written in abbreviations.

For this cord basket, I used a 5-6 mm cord for macramé and a hook in size 7 mm. Cord of this diameter can be used with a hook in size 6 mm, but the garment will turn out more tight.

You can make a basket using a narrower cord, but keep in mind that the basket will slightly smaller.
