Doors of Durin
These fingerless mitts are inspired by the doors of durin from “The Lord of the Rings”. Twisted tree like cables are worked up both sides of the mitts, curled into the center of the ‘window’, then brought up to a point to frame the whole look together.
Beads are used in this pattern to represent stars, but they could be left out if you wished.
