The Dora Milaje are the royal guard of Wakanda, a fictional country of the Marvel Universe. It is ruled by a king-protector who takes the role of the Black Panther. His superpowers come from drinking an infusion of a rare ower, grown in the Vibranium-soaked soil or Wakanda. Science is a huge part of Wakandan life and they have achieved technology unknown to the rest of the world, but the ancestral traditions of its ve tribes are alive as well.
The Dora Milaje are his bodyguards and personal security staff of the Black Panther and work as a team. It is a female-exclusive group of warriors, recruited from all of the tribes in Wakanda. Being in this army is a great honor and responsibility. Their loyalty is to the throne and not to the King in person, but specially to the nation of Wakanda.
These characters were created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby in 1966, and they were the rst black superheroes ever.

Las Dora Milaje son la guardia real de Wakanda, un país cticio dentro del Universo Marvel, gobernado por un rey que también cumple el rol de protector de la nación como la Pantera Negra o Black Panther. Recibe sus poderes sobrehumanos de una or que crece impregnada de Vibranium, un metal muy raro y con características especiales, que llegó a la tierra en un meteorito.
La nación de Wakanda tiene un altísimo grado de desarrollo tecnológico y la ciencia es una parte importantísima de su cultura, pero al mismo tiempo, las cinco tribus que conforman la nación han conservando sus tradiciones ancestrales a or de piel.
Las Dora Milaje son las guardaespaldas y seguridad personal de la Pantera Negra, y trabajan en conjunto. Es un grupo formado exclusivamente por mujeres, reclutadas en todas las tribus wakandianas. Ser parte de este grupo era un gran honor y una gran responsabilidad. Su lealtad es hacia el trono, no a un rey en particular, pero especialmente hacia la Nación de Wakanda.
Estos personajes fueron creados por Stan Lee y Jack Kirby en 1966, y fue el primer superhéroe negro en la historia de las historietas.
