Inspired by the Kousa dogwood tree that has blossomed in my grandmother’s yard every spring of my life, and named for my grandmother herself, Doris is a light and cheerful springtime beret.

The hat is adorned with a circlet of dogwood flowers composed of Fair Isle patterning and simple embroidery.
