“Dorothea”
‘Hey Dorothea
Do you ever stop and think about me?”
“Taylor Swift”

A favourite song, and name, one that I was drawn to design a piece around.

Casual enough to wear every day or dress up with a pin.
The photos show it worn in a variety of different ways, I have taken the photos as they are, to show the different areas of the shawl, but, it could easily just be rolled around the neck.

Dorothea is a simple shawl/scarf that I have created using a bamboo and cotton blend yarn, which when knitted up makes a very soft fabric with beautiful drape. Its lovely against the skin and is a wonderful wool free fibre for anyone wanting to avoid animal wool.

The pattern is knitted row by row with no charts and it’s the shaping of the work that creates the stitches to be at an angle.
Its suitable for a knitter of any ability with basic knitting knowledge.
