Dorothy is worked in worsted and light weight yarns and has wired limbs to help her make her way down the yellow brick road. The pattern also includes instructions for her basket and her little dog too!

To complete this project you will need:

Lightweight Yarn:
Apricot (shown: Paton’s Astra Light)

White - worsted/medium weight
Red (- worsted/medium weight
Medium blue - light weight
White - very light weight (shown: Patons Grace 100% cotton)
Brown/Rust - worsted/medium weight
Medium brown - worsted weight
Royal blue - light or worsted weight
Dark grey - light weight

Size E (3.5 mm) crochet hook
Stitch markers
Sewing needle & thread (black and white)
Hot glue gun or craft glue
4 x 6mm Black safety eyes
4” Dowel rod (approx 1/4” diameter)
Polyester stuffing
16 gauge wire - found at hardware stores
Florist’s wire or other thin craft wire
Wire cutters
Scraps of pink or red and brown embroidery floss
Red sequins, small
4 - 3/8 inch or smaller white buttons or beads
